Chicago Window & Door Solutions installs windows & doors in residential, institutional, and light commercial buildings in the Chicagoland area.

We are known for providing historically accurate architectural replacement window and door units that correct known deficiencies in the building shell.  We employ & educate our clients as to best building practices and utilize modern technology to ensure efficient installations and defect-free completions.

Our installations utilize sustainable materials whenever possible, and make use of current construction technology to ensure an environmentally-sensitive, low impact job for our clients.

We are thought leaders in window and door installations. We give back to our industry via networking and collaborative education and encourage professional development of our team.  We believe in supporting local business and source domestic products as much as possible.  We are team focused and practice professional development throughout our company.


Greg Burnet – Estimator/Project Manager/Installer

Greg brings to the table a wealth of knowledge on not just proper window & door installations, but on carpentry as a whole, having been involved in many facets of carpentry & building continuously since 1980. He’s a Certified Installer of Marvin Windows & Doors as well as a Certified Lead Safe Renovator.

Greg also has strong writing & teaching abilities.  He’s had numerous articles published in national trade magazines over the years & has been invited to teach carpentry & building classes at tradeshows such as JLC Live & The Remodeling Show since 2007.

When not meeting with clients or teaching, Greg can be found online hunting  for the latest tool bargains or networking with other contractors throughout the country. 

Sue Burnet – Office Manager/Production Coordinator

Sue started working in the remodeling industry in 2002 when she joined as Greg’s business partner and helped run and grow their remodeling company.  Sue brings a varied professional background to the company and is primarily responsible for the operational and customer service elements of the business.

In the past 10years, Sue has continued to hone her industry knowledge by attending seminars and training courses at a number of tradeshows and conferences such as JLC Live (Journal of Light Construction) and the Remodeling Show.
